WHY CHOOSE TIMBER

Advantages that steel and concrete can't match

01

Longevity

Properly treated timber lasts 50+ years. Built to endure decades of weather and heavy use.

02

Natural Aesthetics

Ages gracefully, blends into landscapes. No paint. No rust. Just natural beauty.

03

Structural Strength

Exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Often outperforms steel in specific scenarios.

04

Cost-Effective

Lower installation costs. Faster timelines. Minimal heavy equipment on site.

Built to Last

What You Don't See Is What
Matters Most

Every Timber Bridge Co. structure starts with a precision-engineered subframe — pressure-treated timber posts, steel hardware, and cross-bracing dimensioned to handle vehicle loads, flood pressure, and decades of active use.
Most clients only see the finished surface. We want you to see the foundation — because that's where the strength lives.
“This is one of my favorites — it shows exactly how strong these structures really are.”

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL BRIDGE PROJECT TAKE?

Most golf course bridges take 8-12 weeks from consultation to completion. Vehicular bridges and larger structures may take 12-16 weeks depending on engineering requirements, permit timelines, and site conditions. We provide a detailed timeline before any work begins no surprises.

DO YOU HANDLE PERMITS AND ENGINEERING?

Yes - every project is turnkey. We manage ge all permits, structural engineering, material sourcing, and on-site construction. You get a single point of contact from start to finish. We work with local authorities to ensure full code compliance in every state we operate.

WHAT MAINTENANCE DO TIMBER BRIDGES REQUIRE?

Properly treated timber bridges require very little. We recommend a visual inspection once a year and a professional assessment every 3-5 years. With the right treatment and construction methods, our bridges last 50+ years. We also offer service and maintenance contracts for clients who prefer hands-off ownership.

CAN YOU RENOVATE OUR EXISTING BRIDGE OR RETAINING WALL?

Yes. We assess the current structure, identify what can be preserved, and propose a renovation plan - whether it's full reconstruction, structural reinforcement, or upgrading to composite decking and new handrails. Many of our clients come to us with aging bridges that need a second life.
